strikeouts in 23 starts across three Major League stints.
◆ Ranked fifth among American League pitchers (min. 100 IP) with a 92.8 MPH average pitch velocity...Ranked
sixth among A.L. pitchers (min. 100 IP) with an average of +8.1 inches of horizontal break (TruMedia).
◆ Held opposing hitters to a .230 (17/74) average against his fastball and held lefties to a .212 (11/52) average.

five starts before receiving first big league call-up, went 4-0 with a 1.85 ERA (34 IP - 7 ER) and 33 strikeouts,
including two complete game victories.
◆ Made MLB debut with Angels July 11 vs. Seattle (L; 3.0 IP, 7 H, 5 R, 4 ER, 0 BB, 1 SO)...After two starts for Angels,
returned to Rocket City for a pair of starts and ultimately rejoined Angels Aug. 11 for remainder of season.
◆ Registered quality starts in eight of 11 Major League games, including five straight from Aug. 11 - Sept. 5...First
Angels pitcher with five consecutive quality starts since Shohei Ohtani had six straight from July 6 - Aug. 18,
2021...Third pitcher in Angels history to have a five-game quality start streak within his first seven career games,
joining Jered Weaver (2006) and Tom Murphy (1968)...From August 11 through the end of the season, ranked
