        2019
        ◆   Pitched exclusively in relief with Reds for first time in career, making 57 total appearances out of Cincinnati's
          bullpen.
        ◆   Recorded a 1.38 ERA (26 IP - 4 ER) over final 24 outings, which included a .136 batting average against during that
          span (July 26-end of season)...During that span, his 1.38 ERA (26 IP - 4 ER) led National League relievers (min. 25
          IP) and was second-best of any N.L. pitcher (Jack Flaherty - 0.92 ERA for Cardinals).
        ◆   Retired 17 straight batters from April 2-15, before having streak snapped by Manny Machado, April 18 at San
          Diego.
        ◆   Was on IL from May 31 - June 16 (cervical strain) and made two rehab appearances with Triple-A Louisville.

        ◆   Pitched a shutout in Game 1 of July 24 doubleheader vs. Buffalo, becoming first Bats right-hander to throw a
          shutout since Homer Bailey in 2009.
        ◆   Totaled 20 starts for Bats before being promoted to Reds Aug. 8...Made four appearances (three starts) for
          Cincinnati before going on injured list Aug. 30 (right shoulder tendinitis) for remainder of season.

        ◆   With Reds, ranked sixth among N.L. rookies in opponent batting average with a .256 (81/317) mark, and also
          ranked ninth in strikeouts (86) and 10th with a 4.68 ERA (84.2 IP - 44 ER).
        ◆   In 11 total starts for Cincinnati, was 5-4 with a 3.41 ERA (58 IP - 22 ER)...Also made 14 relief appearances for
          Reds.
        ◆   From Aug. 19- Sept. 5, went 4-0 with a 2.38 ERA (22.2 IP - 6 ER) to become first Reds rookie to win four consecutive
          starts while allowing two-or-fewer runs in each game since Tim Pugh in 1992...On Aug. 25 vs. Pittsburgh, struck
          out his first six batters faced, which established a modern-day franchise record.
        ◆   Totaled eight appearances (seven starts) with Triple-A Louisville from June 4 - July 17, pitching to a 3.79 ERA

        ◆   Missed time on injured list from Aug. 6 (retro to Aug. 3) - Aug. 12 with a bruised right shoulder suffered Aug. 2
          vs. Pittsburgh while diving for a Starling Marte popped up bunt single.

        ◆   Spent majority of season with Triple-A Louisville, where his .228 (115/505) opponent batting average ranked
          fifth in International League.
        ◆   Made Major League debut with Reds April 7 vs. Philadelphia (W; 5 IP, 6 H, 3 ER, 1 SO, 2 BB) and became first Reds
          starting pitcher to win MLB debut since Sam LeCure, May 28, 2010 vs. Houston...Recorded first career strikeout
          vs. Odubel Herrera.
        ◆   After winning second start for Reds, April 19 vs. Colorado, became first Reds pitcher to win his first two MLB
          starts since Larry Luebbers in 1993.
        ◆   Returned to Louisville following April 19 start and did not return to Majors until Sept. 2...Made six Sept./Oct.
          starts for Reds.
