UNDER THE HALO
Angels Youth Baseball and Softball
Angels Baseball and the Angels Baseball
Foundation annually host Angels Youth Clinics that
are open to the public in the outfield at Angel
Stadium or local park facilities. These events aim
to teach the proper fundamentals of the game of
baseball and softball, as well as the enjoyment that
participating in the game can provide. These include
events such as the JR42, Clinic in the Park, and Play
Ball Weekend to introduce the game to the next

generation of ball players.
In addition, through a partnership with Major
League Baseball, the Angels Nike RBI League provides
a free opportunity for 7-to-12-year-olds to play baseball as they learn important life skills. The Angels Nike
RBI League concentrates on fundamentals and teamwork, while stressing the importance of citizenship
and academics off the field.
Participants are provided with a full uniform, bats, balls and helmets. The Angels Nike RBI League
athletes also have an opportunity to attend the Angels Nike RBI Clinic, a special baseball and softball clinic
in the outfield of Angel Stadium.
Back-2-School Event
In July 2025, the Angels Baseball Foundation
hosted a Back-2-School Event at Angel Stadium.
Over 800 children attended the event in which
each student received Angels t-shirts, hoodies,
new shoes and school supplies. Everyone in
attendance had the opportunity to walk on the
field and visit the dugout, while also receiving
necessary items for the upcoming school year.
In addition, each family left with a healthy

Science of Baseball, presented by Toyota
In the Fall of 2025, the Angels and Science of
Sport hosted 400 local 4th grade students at
Angel Stadium for the Science of Baseball Field
Trip. Students had the opportunity to learn and
participate in different STEM-themed baseball
activities throughout the day. Students and
teachers also received resources and training
from the team to continue their lessons in the
classroom and at home.
Making Wishes Come True
The Angels have joined forces with Make-A-Wish
Foundation and other wish organizations to help grant
the wishes of children with life-threatening medical
conditions. Throughout the season, the Angels are
pleased to have Wish Kids and their families as guests
to enjoy an experience that uses baseball to provide
encouragement and joy amidst a difficult journey.
