      COACHING HIGHLIGHTS
      ◆  Joins Angels in 2026 as an assistant pitching coach, for his 28th year in professional baseball and
        17th as a coach.
      ◆  Spent the last 16 seasons as a coach in the Rockies organization: Was Colorado’s pitching coach
        from 2022-25 after a stint as the team’s bullpen coach from 2020-21...Prior to joining the Major
        League team, spent three seasons (2017-19) as a minor league pitching coordinator...Served as
        pitching  coach  for  four  different  Rockies  affiliates  across  eight  seasons:  Triple-A  Albuquerque
        (2015-16), Double-A Tulsa (2013-14), High-A Modesto (2011-12) and Short-Season Tri-City (2009-
        10).
      PLAYING CAREER & MISC
      ◆  Pitched professionally for 11 seasons after signing with the Angels in 1990 as an undrafted free
        agent.
      ◆  Made his Major League debut May 31, 1993 with the Angels...Made 16 relief appearances that
        season, his only season in the Majors, going 1-2 with a 5.85 ERA (20.0 IP - 13 ER).
      ◆  Spent time with six organizations over his 11-year career: Angels (1990-93), Colorado (1995, 2000),
        Cleveland (1996-97), Montreal (1998), Philadelphia (1998-2000) and Arizona (2000)...Also played
        professionally in Japan for the Yokohama BayStars in 1994.
      ◆  Played collegiately at Loyola Marymount University, where he earned his degree in psychology.
      ◆  Darryl’s son, Ryan, managed Seattle’s Double-A affiliate, the Arkansas Travelers, in 2025...Ryan
        Scott  previously  managed  High-A  Everett  in  2023  and  2024,  and  was  named  2023  Northwest
        League Manager of the Year after leading the team to a 74-58 record...He spent seven seasons
        playing in the minors with the Dodgers (2013-2015), Angels (2016, 2019) and Mariners (2017-2018)
        organizations.
