MANAGERIAL AND COACHING SUMMARY
◆ Begins his 11th season with the Angels organization and tenth as Manager of
Dominican Summer League Angels in 2026.
◆ Led DSL Angels to third consecutive Wild Card playoff berth in 2025 after tying for
first place in the DSL South Division with a 34-22 record in the regular season.
◆ Across his nine seasons as manager, the DSL Angels have combined to post a 294-
266 (.525) record...De La Cruz has led the team to top-two finishes in four consecutive
years (2022-25) and clinched playoff berths in three straight seasons (2023-25).
◆ During the 2024 campaign, the Halos went 38-18 (.679) and finished second in the DSL Central division...
Angels clinched a Wild Card playoff appearance for second consecutive year and posted an above .500
record for a fourth consecutive season (2021-2024).
◆ In 2023, the Halos finished second with a 37-18 record (.673) record...In 2022, the Halos also finished second
with a 35-25 (.583) record...The Angels finished in fourth place in 2021 with a 32-26 (.552) record, eighth
place with a 23-40 (.365) record in 2019, eighth place at 21-51 (.292) in 2018, and fourth place with a 35-35
(.500) record in 2017.
◆ Finished with a 39-31 (.557) record in 2016 during first year as skipper to mark first winning season for DSL
Angels since 2013; the .557 win percentage in 2016 was highest for any Angels affiliate club.
◆ Coached in Dominican Winter League with Gigantes del Cibao (2012) and Estrellas Orientales (2013-14).
◆ Spent 13 seasons coaching in Diamondbacks system....Prior to joining Angels in 2016, had last managed
with Arizona Summer League D-backs in 2012...Spent two seasons (2010-11) at the helm of Rookie-level
Missoula in Pioneer League and two years (2008-09) managing Double-A Mobile...In 2007, led Adv.-A Visalia

◆ Played seven seasons in Blue Jays system from 1984-90...Across 580 minor league games, batted .243
(444/1828) with 78 doubles, 19 home runs and 190 RBI.
◆ Played in five games during 1991 season with Yomiuri Giants in Japanese Central League.
◆ Ended playing career in the Mexican League in 1999.
