COACHING SUMMARY
◆ Enters tenth year in Angels organization and fourth as Outfield/Baserunning
Coordinator in 2026.
◆ Previously spent three years (2020-2022) as a Special Assistant to the
General Manager focusing on all scouting elements for the organization, and four
years (2016-19) as a Pro Scout.
PLAYING CAREER
◆ A Southern California native, Francisco, 44, was drafted by Cleveland in the fifth round of the 2002 Draft
out of UCLA.
◆ Made MLB debut May 1, 2007 and would go on to enjoy a seven-year big league career with Cleveland,
Philadelphia, Toronto, Houston, Tampa Bay and New York (A.L.)…Over the course of 563 Major League
games, Francisco hit .253 (400/1579) with 50 home runs and 190 RBI, including consecutive 30 double/15
home run seasons in 2008 and 2009…The former outfielder also made three different trips to the
postseason, including the 2009 World Series with the Phillies (Yankees won the Series in six games).
◆ Francisco prepped at Servite High School (Anaheim, CA), less than 10 miles from Angel Stadium.

COACHING SUMMARY
◆ Enters fifth year with Angels organization and third as a Field Coordinator in
2026.
◆ Originally joined the Angels staff in 2022 as Hitting Coach with Double-A
Rocket City.
PLAYING CAREER
◆ Kazmar was selected in the fifth round of 2004 Draft by Padres out of the
College of Southern Nevada...Made Major League debut on Aug. 13, 2008 with San Diego vs. Brewers.
◆ Appeared in 22 Major League games during his career, playing 19 games with the Padres in 2008
and three with the Braves in 2021...The 12 years and 206 days between MLB appearances was the
longest stint between games for a player since Ralph Winegarner from June 23, 1936 to July 7, 1949
(13 years, 14 days).
◆ Spent time in the Padres, Mariners, Mets and Braves organizations from 2004-2021...Batted .257
(1613/6275) across 1,753 minor league games.
◆ In 2021, ended his playing career as the Triple-A Gwinnett franchise leader in games, hits, runs, RBI,
and total bases.

COACHING SUMMARY
◆ Returns for his sixth year as a coach within the Angels minor league system
in 2026 and fourth as a Field Coordinator....Was previously the Arizona & Latin
American Field Coordinator for three seasons.
◆ Joined Angels Player Development staff in 2021 as a coach for the ACL Angels.
PLAYING CAREER
◆ As a player, totaled 10 minor league seasons after signing with the Angels
in 2010 out of Venezuela...He was traded to Baltimore in 2016, playing three seasons in the Orioles
minor league system...Salcedo was signed back by the Angels in 2019 and spent the season playing for
Double-A Mobile and Triple-A Salt Lake.
