◆ Enters 13th season in Angels organization and fifth as Manager of the Angels Low-A
affiliate in 2026 as Manager of Low-A Rancho Cucamonga...Was the Manager of Inland
Empire from 2022-2025.
◆ Led 66ers to their third playoff appearance in four years after going 42-24 in the
second half of 2025...The team was the California League runner-up after returning to
the Championship series for the first time since 2013...Marked Stapleton’s third season
since 2022 leading his teams to second-half first place finishes (also: 2022 and 2023).
◆ In 2024, Inland Empire finished in fourth place in the California League South Division with a 58-72 (.446)

Championship with sweep of Billings in Championship Series...In 2015, led Orem to a 24-14 first-half record
and won the first-half title, but fell in the Pioneer League South division playoff series...Guided Owlz to a 42-33
record (.560) and a playoff berth in 2014, but lost the Championship Series to Billings.

◆ Spent six seasons in the Brewers organization as a left-handed relief pitcher from 1984-89...Made Major
League debut on Sept. 14, 1987 with Brewers vs. Yankees.
◆ Pitched 10 Major League games for Milwaukee (1987-88), finishing with a 2-0 record and 3.81 ERA (28.1 IP - 12
ER) and 20 strikeouts.
◆ In five minor league seasons, went 30-26 with a 3.43 ERA (444 IP - 169 ER) and 310 strikeouts...In 1987, with
Double-A El Paso and Triple-A Denver, went 11-3 with a 3.88 ERA (139.1 IP - 60 ER).
